OK, I found myself rooting for the Cardinals simply because I have so much respect for Kurt Warner as a football player, as a man and as a witness to Christ. (See his website at: http://www.kurtwarner.org/aboutus.html ). But on another note, as I watched the first half with Jeremy and Nico at my side (for short 2 minute attention spans between sessions of bouncing off various walls), I found myself having to flip to other channels due to violent commercials that I don't want them to see, but also for extremely sexual commercials that none of the Abegg boys, young or old(er) should see.
I know that there is some sort of an approval process, but I haven't quite figured out their criteria. First, I am pleased to read that an extremely sensual animal rights commercial (how that works I don't want to know) by PETA did not make the cut, but just this AM I read about a pro-life commercial that was not allowed to run as well:
So we can have sensuality, violence, and other objectionable material, but not pro life messages.
As a nation, we need help.
